What is Stem cell culture supernatant?
Dental Pulp Stem Cell (DPSC) fluid is a formulation of dense growth factors (regeneration factors / cytokines) contained in a culture solution.
It is procured by culturing the dental nerves and pulp cells
existing in the central part of the tooth.
Dental pulp cells are known to have low-risk of developing cancer because they are protected by the tooth's enamel (hard outer layer of tooth),
making them less susceptible to damage.
They have an extremely high regenerative function and
contain large amounts of high-quality stem cells.
Using dental pulp cells are advantageous as
the stem cells are collected and cultured from a donor's teeth.
This reduces the burden and risk for doners when comparing to collecting through other means such as bone marrow or fat stem cell.
